Katharina Müller

Katharina Müller is Head of Education, Research, Publications Department at the Austrian Film Museum. She completed her PhD at the University of Vienna with a thesis on actornetwork theory and ‘national’ cinema (Haneke: Keine Biographie, Bielefeld 2014). Since 2011 she works as a lecturer of film and media studies at the Universities of Vienna (Romance Studies & tfm), St. Gallen (HSG), and Salzburg / Mozarteum as well as of cultural studies and gender studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. In addition to her academic work, she worked on various curatorial, art projects, and film festivals. Together with Claus Philipp, she is currently working on an anthology Picturing Austrian Cinema (Leipzig 2022).
