Jonathan Haid

Jonathan Haid is a PhD candidate at the Department of Musicology and Media Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin. His dissertation project examines a material history of nitrocellulose within humanities research practices of the 19th and 20th centuries. His research interests include history of science and media technology, film studies, ecomedia studies, history of raw material economy and logistics.
