Hanna Stein

Hanna Stein, M.A. M.A. completed European Studies and Cultural Sciences, Southeastern European History and Interdisciplinary Gender Studies in Chemnitz, Germany, Zagreb, Croatia, and Graz, Austria. Currently, she is a project assistant at the department of Southeast European History and Anthropology at the University of Graz and a fellow of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her research project Unknown Pictures – Amateur Films as Historical Sources and New Perspectives on Everyday Life in Socialist Yugoslavia aims at the development of a methodological approach to amateur films and researching the productions of Yugoslav amateur filmmakers as perspectives on the everyday life.
