Winfried Pauleit

Winfried Pauleit is Professor in Film Studies since 2003 and Head of the research Lab Film, Media Art and Popular Culture at the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) at University of Bremen, where he has been leading and supervising several research projects funded by the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development / BREMEN TRAC Cofound Fellowship, the German Research Foundation DFG, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF. Since 2006 he is also Head of the steering committee of the annual International Bremen Film Conference and co-editor of its publication series.

He is founder and general editor of www.nachdemfilm.de.

Since 2011 he is also Director of the Institute for Art History – Film Studies – Art Education at University of Bremen.
