Bernhard Gross

Bernhard Gross is a professor for film studies at the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena, Germany. His most recent research projects: Theories of the historicity of film, TV and media, theories of seriality and the staging of the everyday, aesthetical theory, Italian and German cinema. Most recent publications: Thinking Film and Society with Siegfried Kracauer (co-ed.). Turia+Kant: Wien 2018; Compendium Film Theory (co-ed.). Springer: Wiesbaden 2018; The Films are among us.
